2. WHAT BECOMES: COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE SCULPTURE

During Harwood Art Center’s Encompass event, the five ceramic artists of Desert Dweller Clay Collective will guide visitors to create a community clay sculpture then facilitate a workshop to complete the artwork.

3. THE ROVING TABLE: COMMUNITY GATHERING, FAMILY-STYLE

Tables naturally bring people together to share food, tell stories or work out differences, to name a few. Presented by Women in Design: NM, UNM School of Architecture & Planning, in partnership with DowntownABQ MainStreet and Women & Creativity, this large-scale table of mixed materials will move around the city, offering a surprising invitation for community exchange.

4. RALLY: HOW WE GATHER

Celebrate the beauty of the RALLY and how we gather. Artists, scientists, community organizers, computer gurus and balloon pilots examine the idea of: Hey, let’s get together. Join the conversation about gathering to create – and the joys and challenges of collaboration.

5. FIERCE FEMALES: WOMEN AT WORK

A two-part series, presented by 516 ARTS and Central Features Contemporary Art, focuses on how historic and contemporary New Mexico women ingeniously stake their claim and help shape the local workforce.

516 ARTS and Historic District Improvement Company host filmmaker Katrina Parks and writer Carolyn Meyer, who will discuss one of the first all female American workforces

6. THE LIKENESS OF US

“When you look at me do you see yourself?” This cross-generational art exhibit unites established women artists with young women from the Youth Services Center through a visual dialogue fostering creativity and self-reflection.

7. EKCO POETS: DANCE AND DANCERS

EKCO poets Tanesia Hale-Jones, Valerie Martínez, Michelle Otero and Shelle Sanchez have collaborated with dancers Romy Keegan, Pilar Leto and Lisa Nevada to produce a poetry performance with dance and about dance.

8. ART & STROLL: A POP-UP BRUNCH CELEBRATING CREATIVITY & CUISINE

An art/dance/writing-infused walk along acequias followed by brunch, prepared by Chef Marie Yniguez. Presented by edible Santa Fe, the morning features writer Michelle Otero; artists Chrissie Orr and Noel Chilton; place settings by potters H.P. Bloomer, Jennifer DePaolo and Teresa Larrabee; and dance choreographed by Romy Keegan of Maple Street Dance Space. Join for the walk, brunch, or both.

9. EQUINOX YOGA: 108 SUN SALUTATIONS

Burque Noir brings together Dance, Music, Poetry, Comedy, and Live Visual Art in a relaxed Albuquerque venue where the theme for the night is simply, Black. It’s exclusively inclusive! 11. FEAST FOR THE SENSES: A POP-UP DINNER

Join us at the table as we take you on an exploration of creativity during this pop-up dinner. In the unique gallery setting, music, art, poetry, theater and/or dance are integrated with the culinary arts. Presented by edible Santa Fe and Farm & Table, the menu will push the limits of the sensory experience.
